Things I Love

Pasta de Mandorle. (almond past - kinda like marzipan...but much, much sweeter)A Sicilian tradition in the form of beautiful arrays of brightly colored faux-fruits that are acutually a sweet, chewy almond paste masquerading as every fauna imaginable. They all taste the same, but its fun to pick out the wildest, most brightly colored to munch on.
